UK press had their first taste of the all-new Suzuki GSX1250FA, as the bike’s European press launch took place in Girona, Northern Spain over the weekend of 20 th March 2010.
With representatives in attendance from all major motorcycle titles, the new GSX1250FA was put through its paces on the roads around Girona, taking in the scenic coastal and mountain roads in the area, offering all manner of riding conditions to test the new bike in.
Experienced freelance journalist and Motorcycle Sport & Leisure contributor, Chris Moss was quick to deliver his verdict on the new Suzuki, commenting, “I’ve been very impressed with the new GSX today. It’s an extremely competent bike that offers virtually everything you need from a sports tourer, while offering incredible value for money. It really is the common-sense choice all-rounder.”
Echoing Chris’s sentiments was Fast Bikes contributor Jon Urry, who added, “For the market Suzuki is targeting this bike at it really is spot on. It’s a very capable sports tourer, with an engine that’s incredibly flexible and torquey and is just very easy to ride. The handling is secure, yet still able to deliver the thrills. Overall it’s a big thumbs up from me.”
The new GSX1250FA is arriving in UK dealers now, with a recommended retail price of £6,999, excluding road tax and first registration fee.
