UK press got their first taste of the 2010 RM-Z250 on the 11th Nov 2009 as Suzuki GB launched the new fuel-injected MX2 contender at the legendary Desertmartin track in Northern Ireland.
Tester's from all major off-road titles where in attendance and riding alongside were Suzuki British MX2 contenders Martin Barr and Mattis Karro, who were impressed by the new bike.
Barr said: "It feels really good. To be honest, the motor is as strong as my 09 race bike and for a standard bike, the handling is really impressive."
"The fuelling is absolutely bang-on, feeling really precise at any opening. Today's been my first go on the new bike and if this is where my race bike starts I'm feeling very encouraged for next season."
