As the official motorcycle partner at this year's Isle of Man TT Races, Suzuki GB PLC was delighted to supply all course travelling marshals with 2010 GSX-R1000 Superbikes.
With no-less than 10 traveling marshall machines supplied by the Japanese manufacturer, who celebrated 50 years of International racing at this year's TT, the fleet was quickly put to good use during practice and race week, responsible for ensuring safe operation of the TT course.
Fitted with Suzuki's new GSX-R tail pack and higher screen, the fleet of GSX-R1000s were essential in maintaining the safety of the famous 37.73 mile TT course, with no other modifications made to the standard version of the machine, that was taken to battle in the TT Races with Cameron Donald and Bruce Anstey and currently leads the British Superbike Championship with Tommy Hill.
Suzuki GB marketing manager, George Cheeseman, commented, "Naturally we were delighted to supply the marshals with GSX-R1000s this year, especially in the GSX-R's 25th birthday year too. With the standard specification boasting switchable power settings thanks to the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector and the Big Piston Forks providing a controlled ride on the demanding TT course, the GSX-R1000 proved to be the perfect choice for the travelling marshals at this year's TT."
