Fast Eddy wins Michelin Fast Cross Opener

Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider Paul Edmondson blitzed the opening rounds of the Michelin Fast Cross series at Carrog Isa, Wales, last weekend. Fast Eddy rode the Relentless Suzuki 450 to victory in both of the 1hr races in what can only be described as a superb display of off-road riding.
The format for the series gives riders two 1hr races with the combined results giving an overall final position. Adding up Edmondson’s results was simple, two first places gave him an undisputed first overall and has set him up well for the series.
Paul Edmondson commented, ‘the course was a little rough in places but the 450 handled it with ease. It has so much power and the suspension was spot on. I enjoyed every minute of both races, despite the heat of the day, which saw many riders struggling in the second race. The course was challenging but, if you picked your lines correctly, a smooth path was possible, that’s why I managed to maintain my speed throughout both races.’
