SUZUKI DOMINATE TOP TEN AT LYNG

Suzuki riders dominated the result sheets at the weekend, as the Maxxis British Motocross Championship went to Lyng in Norfolk for round four.
With the three official teams plagued by injury since the beginning of the season, Lyng could have been another tough round, but instead, proved to be the best overall event of the season so far.
In MX1, qualifying set the tone with Brad Anderson starting his day off with promise, finishing third quickest. By race one Brad found himself running at the front yet again, only beaten to the flag by Billy MacKenzie. Race two would follow with similar form, with the RM-Z450 rider visiting the podium again with a third place finish, taking a great second place overall on the day. Relentless Suzuki rider Jamie Law, overcame recent setbacks to score a promising ninth place in race one, just missing out on a top ten finish in race two.
In the fiercely contested MX2 class, the Suzuki teams put up a strong fight with no less than six riders qualifying inside the top ten. By race one it would be Suso MVR-D rider Jason Dougan that would put on the strongest fight, finishing on the podium in third place, while Lewis Gregory followed him home in fourth and Jake Nicholls in fifth.
In race two, a change of fortunes in the Suso MVR-D camp would see Dougan's teammate take the limelight, with Carl Nunn giving the team their second podium of the day in third. A further three Suzuki riders would fill the top-ten with Team Suzuki Swift's Elliot Banks-Browne in fourth, Relentless Suzuki's Lewis Gregory in fifth and Marcus Norlen topping the day off in seventh position.
Suzuki GB's Paul de Lusignan commented, "Congratulations to all teams. It's been a tough start to the season, but to see all of our teams back at the sharp end and sharing the success is extremely encouraging. I think we can all look forward to an exciting season now."
