Suzuki Swift Motocross Team Announced

Suzuki GB is pleased to announce the launch of the 'Suzuki Swift Motocross Team' - an all-new British based team set-up for an assault on next years World and British MX2 Motocross Championships.Backed by Suzuki GB's car and motorcycle divisions and flying the flag for Suzuki's award winning ‘Swift' super-mini, the new team with the help of the renowned Banks family, will run a unique Anglo American line-up on the all-new RM-Z250, with up and coming US racer Sean Hamblin and young British star Elliott Banks-Browne.
Suzuki GB's marketing manager Paul de Lusignan was pleased to announce the new team, commenting, "We are delighted to announce the all-new Suzuki Swift Motocross Team. Aside from the backing of our car and motorcycle divisions, the new team have a great deal of experience behind the scenes, and I am sure they will do Suzuki proud at home and abroad next season".
Operating highly successful Suzuki car dealerships in Suffolk, the Banks family are renowned in Motocross, with no less than three generations having competed and won at British Championship level. With John, Mark and Justin Banks all actively involved in the new team, this is one set-up that's not short of experience.
The team will be managed by ex British champion Jonathon Wright and will begin testing the all-new Suzuki RM-Z250 in the next few weeks.
