Oct 2006
At the annual Motorcycle News awards, held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham last Thursday, Suzuki GB achieved the highest accolade of the evening, as they were awarded the coveted ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ award for 2006.
After a year of exceptional performance and change for Suzuki, that has seen the company undergo a complete relocation from Crawley to Milton Keynes, and yet still increase its market share and efficiency in the UK, Suzuki GB was deemed by MCN to have performed exceptionally in all areas of the business throughout 2006.
Motorcycle News judged Suzuki GB on its impressive sales results, market share figures, innovative marketing and ability to bring value to customers with quality products and support.
Visiting the stage to collect the award was Suzuki GB sales and marketing director Nick Palmer, who commented, “We are delighted to be declared manufacturer of the year for 2006. It’s been an extremely tough but rewarding year for Suzuki, but I believe we have pushed the boundaries once more, challenging convention and bringing great products, value and service to our customers.
Suzuki GB is currently exhibiting the entire line-up of 2007 models at the International Motorcycle & Scooter Show at the NEC in Birmingham until 5th November 2006.
