MKM Rocketman Suzuki rider Carl Bunce rode his Suzuki QuadRacer LT-R450 to an impressive 3rd place overall at round one of the ACU British QX Championship this Saturday.
Bunce maintained a consistently strong pace throughout three races at the Desertmartin track in Northern Ireland. Great starts in each race saw his LT-R450 challenging near the front for most of the day, ultimately rewarding him with 4th place in race one, 6th in race two and 5th in race three. His great form meant he claimed 3rd place overall on the Saturday.
As part of an action packed weekend, Sunday hosted the second round of the championship. Fresh from scoring an overall 3rd the day before, an energised Bunce utilised the power and handling of his race-prepared QuadRacer 450 in three more remarkable rides, scoring 4th place in each race, resulting in 4th overall for round two of the championship.
Team Manager Ant Deacon commented, "This is a fantastic weekend for the MKM Rocketman Suzuki team, I'm delighted with the results, Carl's performance was great and the Suzuki LT-R450 proved to be the right machine for the job".
Round 3 of the ACU British QX Championship takes place on 27th June at Wrangway, Somerset.
