CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE NEW POWER STEERING KINGQUADS
08th January 2010
A number of prospective customers were given the opportunity to test Suzuki's new range of KingQuad Power Steering ATVs at an open day in Wales in December.
The customer open day, organised by Suzuki ATV dealer Mike Pryce Machinery, was open to members of the public and offered a number of challenging riding environments to put the Suzuki ATV range through it's paces.
Included in the ATVs available to test ride were the latest range-topping KingQuad
750XP and
500XP models, the first in the range to feature power steering. The new models could be tested back-to-back with their non-power steering equivalents in order to highlight the benefits of the new models.
Mr Evans of Welshpool, Powys, commented on his experience of the power steering model, "I've ridden ATVs on the farm for 20 years and my first time with the power steering was good. It was smooth and better to ride over the rough and hilly ground, it made turning easier in 4wd and took the bite out of the front end."
Mike Pryce, whose dealership is based in Four Crosses, Powys, has run a number of successful open days in the past and firmly believes in customers trying out the products, "The demonstration day was a success and we enjoy running them. It also proved to be the perfect opportunity to show the advantages of the new KingQuad power steering models."
The Welsh hill farm venue provided a number of challenging riding areas including steep hills, a water splash and open fields. The course was designed to highlight rider benefits including a more upright riding position for improved comfort, lighter low speed steering for reduced rider fatigue and elimination of bump-steer for more control at higher speeds.
