SUZUKI KINGQUADS TOUR THE SUMMER SHOWS
05th October 2009
A selection of Suzuki’s tough and ready for work KingQuad utility ATV range have been touring the country, visiting some of the biggest agricultural shows, motorsport events and music festivals, not just on display but being put into action by marshals, stewards and even the Essex Ambulance Service.
After being successfully launched on the Suzuki stand at the Royal Highland and Royal Welsh Shows, the all new KingQuad 500 Power Steering model has joined the rest of the range at a number of other international events including Power in Action, a working demonstration for cultivation equipment, Goodwood Festival of Speed, an international motorsport event and the V Festival, two days of music from some of the biggest names in the industry.
The Power in Action event, run by Farmers Guide, is based on a 200-acre site and with 21 rough ploughed fields and over 45 tractors and machines to keep an eye on, it was essential for the event stewards to move around the site quickly and safely. Luckily the KingQuad 500 Power Steering was on hand to take the effort out of dashing around the venue, its powerful engine and easy turning made light work of the bumpy terrain.
The annual V Festival sees thousands of fans turn out to watch their favourite music acts live at Hylands Park, Chelmsford. With people partying hard in the summer heat, the Ambulance Service plays a very important part in event safety. Jon Moore, General Manager West Essex Ambulance Service, has relied on Suzuki ATVs for emergency transport at the event for a number of years, Jon commented “We are very grateful to Suzuki for their support, the new KingQuad 500 model is excellent and with the power steering there is a vast improvement in comfort and handling”.
