SUZUKI’S EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW AT THE 2009 ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW

11th June 2009

Suzuki GB are pleased to announce that they will be exhibiting at this year’s Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh from 25th to 28th June 2009. The main attraction at the Suzuki stand this year will be the brand new KingQuad 500 and KingQuad 750 power steering models, which will be making their UK debut at the show.

These highly anticipated models are the first Suzuki ATVs to feature the electronic power steering system. Not only do these new models have the power and practicality that comes with the larger ATVs, they now feature light handling and are therefore easier to manoeuvre.

The benefits of power steering really can’t be overstated, with lighter steering operation and the elimination of bump-steer; it can significantly reduce the strain of a full days work.

Revised handlebar design means a more upright seating position; this results in improved comfort and reduced rider fatigue. Combine this with a chassis design that achieved the best turning circle in a recent test of large ATVs and the result is a much more rider friendly ATV package.

The KingQuad 500’s engine is based on the 454cc motor of the KingQuad 450, but features a wider bore, with a new cylinder and piston giving increased power and torque. The new 500 has great features including fuel injection, independent suspension and push button 4-wheel drive with diff lock, all for a curb mass of just 300kg thanks to targeted weight reduction.

The KingQuad 750 power steering model uses the same powerful 722cc engine from the previous model, and similarly keeps all the great features, whilst also benefiting from careful weight reduction; has a curb mass of just 305kg. To find out more about these great new models speak to a Suzuki representative at the show.

This year marks a special achievement for Suzuki, as they celebrate 100 years of innovation. You can join in the celebrations by entering the free competition to win a brand new Suzuki QuadSport Junior 90 ATV, visit the Suzuki stand for your competition entry form*.
