This weekend hosted what appeared to be the most successful beach race at Weston-Super-Mare in the events 26 year history. With the tide out all day, the beach was flooded with a sea of yellow, with Suzuki off-road bikes and ATVs taking to the sand for the ultimate endurance beach race.
The event attracted spectators and top riders from around the world and saw well over 1300 ATVs and Motorcycles take to the beach to ride the flat out straights and massive ups and downs of the sand dunes.
The Suzuki stand on the promenade was flooded with spectators coming to check out the full range of Suzuki’s on display, including the 2009 RM-Z450 and the brand new 2009 QuadSport LT-Z400.
The well established Suzuki Cup proved more popular than ever this year with over 100 Suzuki riders signing up over the weekend. Every Suzuki rider who entered received a free professional photograph and the hugely popular free Weston t-shirt courtesy of Suzuki GB.
Suzuki ATV and Off-Road Product Co-ordinator, Richard Gregg said “This years Weston Beach Race has been a huge success and the busiest I have ever seen it. The Suzuki cup now appears to have become part of Weston tradition with more and more riders signing up than ever before. All Suzuki riders that competed did a great job of showing how competitive our product line-up is.”
