This weekend saw some fantastic results for Suzuki, achieving podiums in all Quad classes at this years notorious Weston Beach Race.
In the Quad Solos class, French rider Jeremie Warnia secured first place on his LT-R450, ahead of a field that included British and European Champions. Warnia completed 17 laps in the gruelling three-hour race and also had the fastest lap time of the race making it round in 9.47.86.
Carl Bunce of Anderson ATV Suzuki pushed himself hard to take third place in the Quad Solos class by completing 17 laps and coming in just behind the number two spot.
In the Quad 4x4 Class, Simon ‘Porky’ Davies of Team MKM Rocketman Suzuki dominated the competition onboard his KingQuad 700BB. Davies completed 15 laps, a whole lap more than his nearest competitor.
Beverley Barnes continued to show that she is a force to be reckoned with in the world of female ATV racing by storming the Quad Ladies class. Barnes had completed a total 13 laps by the end of the three hours which was 4 more than the second place female rider and enough to put her ahead of hundreds of men in the Quad Solos.
Suzuki also managed to podium in the Quad 2 man class. Riders Edwards and Thorne were riding an LT-R450 and finished in third place after completing 13 laps.
As in previous years Suzuki were also running the Suzuki Cup open to all Suzuki riders who had signed up. The winner of the Expert class was Simon ‘Porky’ Davies and the winner of the Clubman Class was Robert Hanks.
Marketing Manager of Suzuki GB, George Cheeseman, commented after the days racing, “We are really pleased with the results today. To have a Suzuki rider on the podium in every class shows that we have winning machines for all levels of rider. It’s been a really good day for us and we are already looking forward to next year.”
